Services: Aimchart provides a personal service for free over the internet as a demonstration and to help spread PT. The primary limitation of the free service is the inability to view and manage groups of learners.

Aimchart will soon provide a commercial service that allows for greatly enhanced management of data and data access across an organization. This service is targeted at institutions that have human assets in PT available, whether in house or outsourced. Aimchart's commercial service is especially targeted at consultants who might be providing that outsourced PT expertise.

Aimchart will also provide a research service that allows researchers to access this database to improve the overall knowledge of behavior.

Development: Aimchart is committed to developing all three of it's services. The first priority is to maintain the integrity of the Aimchart data, so that more and more data is available to perform analysis on.

Aimchart does not presume to know what is most important to everyone, so the prioritization of additional development will be generally market driven. This means that priority will be given to features that we are separately contracted to add or features that many paying clients tell us they need.

Sponsored features will be rolled back into the mainstream tools if applicable. Development of mainstream features will, of course, continue regardless of sponsorship.

Customization: Aimchart is tremendously customizable. We can customize data tools for you to reflect your institutional process or to provide different analysis. We can customize access to your existing datasets, including appropriate data transformation if necessary (e.g. from cumulative record data). We can arrange for servers to be located on site. All of these additional services are a la carte, so you only pay for what you need.

Background: Aimchart is a provider of innovative, integrated tools and services for managing data electronically, particularly for managing Precision Teaching style data.

Technology: Aimchart uses Macromedia Flash 7. This is the only existing platform to provide consistent cross-platform results and the ability to run offline. Java applets purport to have that capability, but most PCs ship with an OS that uses a broken JVM.

Source: Aimchart is not an open source technology. However, arrangements are possible where the source is shared with a client, including arrangements where the client's developers can make improvements and customizations for them. Similarly, arrangements are possible where a client managing their own servers can arrange for a permanent, fixed-cost license. We are committed to addressing any concerns about vendor lock in.

Data: Aimchart is committed to the safety of your data. Aimchart is also committed to expanding the body of human knowledge. Data of a personally identifying type are separated from data that are not personally identifying. The anonymized, nonpersonal data are intended to be used to for research. Hence, the scope and quantity of data would be prohibitive to gather independently.

Consultants: Aimchart's commercial data management tools and services are also targeted towards consultants. To properly use PT in an environment requires data management but also requires analysis of the institutional process in that environment and improvements of that process. With that in mind we target consultants who are improving these processes, and we think that being powered by Aimchart can greatly improve the value they can bring to their clients. Volume based pricing is available, so your expenses only grow as fast as your clientele.
