You can use it, test it, and report any problems you have
Aimchart is seeking volunteers. This opportunity is completely remote, so you'll need to have a computer, internet access and a self-sufficient mentality. On the other hand, you can be anywhere in the world, although currently all development is in English.
Aimchart uses SuSE linux, Apache, Actionscript 2.0, Flash MX 2004 Professional, ColdFusion 6.1, perl and mySQL. However, a background in Object Orienting Programming and a willingness to take the time to learn is sufficient to help.
This opportunity is unpaid. Copyright of your code must be assigned to Aimchart, but you will be credited. We will do it's best to help you publicize your work and portfolio. We will also be happy to report, at your request, on what you're doing; for instance, a student might want us to report to their professor.
The core of Aimchart is not Open Source. However, it depends on many Open Source technologies, and some components are intended to be Open Source. If you desire, you may volunteer to work only on OSS projects.
